Warframe’s developers have described the free-to-play game’s unexpected fan reception as a “rogue success” and soon the co-op shooter will have a matching assortment of rogue merch. This latest collaboration with iam8bit will see Warframe art prints, enamel pins and a remastered vinyl soundtrack all available for limited-time pre-order starting Friday, March 17th.
The vinyl edition will feature 2 discs in a deep “oxblood” color containing 24 remastered tracks from the original Warframe score and its 2015 expansion, The Second Dream, by composer Keith Power (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Criminal and Hawaii Five-0). Direction and mixing will be handled by George Spanos and the Digital Extremes’ in-house sound team to ensure an authentic treatment. The rest of the package offers a full-color, double-sided gatefold with full-color disc sleeves, all featuring artwork from Spanish illustrator Patricio Betteo. If it proves too gorgeous for everyday use you can fall back on the digital copy of the soundtrack included with the vinyl release.
You can pre-order all of the Warframe merchandise over on iam8bit’s site starting at 7am PST this Friday, March 17th, but take note, orders are only being taken for 31 days. Check out some of the game’s music and a partial song list after the cut.
