The Economizer: Soundtrack Deals You Can’t Pass Up

We all know the pains of importing music from Japan.  At a typical $30 a pop plus shipping, we have all had to make tough decisions as to which items to pick up and which ones to leave behind.  Well, I’m hoping to point you towards some amazing deals that won’t make you late on next month’s rent.  I’ll call this feature “The Economizer” after the FFVI accessory that lets you cast any spell for a single MP. While I can’t promise this will be a weekly feature, be assured that I’ll pass along any sweet deals that I come across in the future.

This time around we have some game music deals from around the globe, hitting up Japan, Europe, and the United States. Click the jump to find out what they are!

KeepMoving Records

This Russian-based record label offers a small selection of game soundtracks, mainly from Europe, ranging from a measly $6.99 to $7.99 plus shipping! That’s insane. The key attraction here is the Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath Limited Edition soundtrack which is an absolutely amazing score composed by Michael Bross. With only 500 copies printed, I’d recommend getting it before it’s gone.

Game Music Online

This resaler is based in the United States, and currently has some Japanese game soundtracks on clearance. Which soundtracks you may ask? How about Dirge of Cerberus – Final Fantasy VII Original Soundtrack [Limited Edition] for $9.99? Another one that I picked up was Final Fantasy IX Maxi Single “Melodies of Life” for $2.99. There are a number of other deals here, so I recommend heading over there to check them out before they’re gone.

Well, that’s it for this time. I hope this helps you score some great music at a low price. Does anyone know of any other great deals out there? Let us know at [email protected]!
