Yes, it’s short notice, but you’re all likely on the mailing list anyway, right? Distant Worlds is hitting Los Angeles this weekend at the Royce Hall on both Friday, September 9 and Saturday September 10 with two different programs and lots of surprises. Uematsu is expected to be in attendance and will be hitting the stage with Arnie Roth to actually perform a piece together. Additionally, Susan Calloway will also be present with her amazing voice, and there are rumors that another very important person in Final Fantasy’s history will also be attending.
Tickets are still available for the shows along with VIP tickets to meet Uematsu. The AWR team has even been kind enough to post the expected set lists for each night so you can choose which night to attend. Looking at the programs, it’s looking as though Friday is the night to see with “Fisherman’s Horizon,” “Distant Worlds” with Susan Calloway, and “Dancing Mad.” But both nights should be awesome.
The only thing missing is an arrangement of “Troian Beauty!”
