Back in 2014, Night Light Interactive and Akupara Games released an indie horror-adventure title on Steam called Whispering Willows. It was a beautiful little 2D games with a girl named Elena who spoke to the spirits of the dead and looking for her missing father and received favorable reviews from players. The music of the game is appropriately eerie and morose and composer Steve Goldshein makes use of piano and synth sounds to help immerse the player into the game’s macabre setting.
Now, over 3 years after the game itself was released, the official soundtrack for Whispering Willows has been released by Akapara Games and Materia Collective.
The album contains 12 tracks (one of which is a dance remix) and is currently available on Bandcamp, iTunes and several other platforms.
