Professor Layton and the Devil’s Flute is the fourth game in Level-5’s prominent DS puzzle-solving series. It marks the beginning of a second trilogy. The game is just now making its way to Japan (here in America, we’re a full two games behind).
Publisher “Frame” announced a soundtrack for the game, coming December 16th. The CD’s catalog number is PKCF-1017. Tomohito Nishiura, who scored the entire Layton series up to this point, is scheduled to be back on for this one. Nishiura has also written music for many other Level-5 titles, including Dark Cloud and Dark Chronicle.
Will you be picking up this album when it comes out? And can you play (jazz) flute like the devil himself? I’m immediately conjuring up images of “Devil Went Down To Georgia,” now for flute instead of fiddle.
