One of my favorite soundtracks of 2007 was Sam & Max Season One. It offered a mixture of well-produced jazz, show tunes, and even chip music that was unique and insanely memorable. I’ve been greatly looking forward to the Season Two Soundtrack, and it’s finally coming to a Telltale online store near you.
In the words of Telltale, “If there’s another game soundtrack out there that’s this cool, we’ve never seen it.” Cocky, but so true. Jared Emerson-Johnson’s score for Season Two sounds as though it provides an even greater variety of styles, including mariachi music alongside the stellar jazz that I would personally like to hear more in games. Even the album’s cover art looks amazing. We’ll keep you updated on this one as the September release date approaches.
Did you dig the Sam & Max Season One Soundtrack last year? Are you thinking about picking up Season Two?
