The metroidvania video game Hollow Knight developed and published by Team Cherry and composed by Christopher Larkin will be receiving a vinyl release in early 2018.
The soundtrack for Hollow Knight was released to Larkin’s Bandcamp page earlier this year in digital format. Now, Ghost Ramp Records will be pressing vinyl copies of the game’s soundtrack as a 2X LP complete with beautiful gatefold artwork and picture discs. Previously, Ghost Ramp had also released the vinyl editions of the soundtracks to Crypt of the Necrodancer and Darkest Dungeon.
Beneath the fading town of Dirtmouth sleeps an ancient, forgotten kingdom. Many are drawn beneath the surface, searching for riches, or glory, or answers to old secrets. Descend into Hallownest, traverse the depths, unravel its mysteries and conquer its evils.
The 26-track soundtrack to Hollow Knight is currently available on Christopher Larkin’s Bandcamp for $9.99 digital. The pre-order for the vinyl release from Ghost Ramp is now available for $40 and is currently set with a shipping date of 2nd quarter 2018.
