Alright, here we are with episode four of the OSVchannel. This time I talk about the La Tale soundtrack and highlight some of my favorite songs that we mentioned in our review that went live this week. Afterwards, I play samples and give details about our latest contest.

What is it, you ask? I’d like to say, “Watch the video and find out!,” but unfortunately I have to give you some materials for this one. Our friend wappa over at Dog Ear Records has generously sent us three copies of their recent KALAYCILAR album by Keita Egusa. This is a big deal because they only printed 500 CDs, and it’s only available by mail order in Japan, so definitely be sure to thank wappa for sending these over for you guys!

Metal Gear Solid 4 Signed Soundtrack Contest Winners

It’s been a little over two weeks now, and you’ve likely been waiting to hear who won these sweet copies of the Metal Gear Solid 4 soundtrack signed by the team at GEM Impact. Well, the editors have looked over the entries, and we’ve come up with one video, one photo, and one text entry that we think deserve a share of the loot.

Don’t feel bad if you didn’t win; we have some more contests in the work for you guys, so stay tuned. And remember, you can’t win if you don’t enter!

Contest Reminder: Metal Gear Solid 4 Original Soundtrack Signed by GEM Impact

This is just a reminder to those who didn’t catch the OSVchannel Episode 1 last week where we announced the details for our Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Original Soundtrack giveaway contest. We’re asking you to send us your pictures, videos, or text to explain how you enjoy the music in the Metal Gear Solid series. It can be a description of a particular track that you’ve enjoyed, a picture of you enjoying the music of MGS, or even a video of you performing you own version of the music from the game.

BE CREATIVE.

We have three copies courtesy of GEM Impact, signed by all four composers on the team, so send those entries to us at [email protected]. We will continue to take entries until midnight on September 18, 2008, at which point the editors will get together to determine which three entries reign supreme.

Introducing the OSVchannel on YouTube, Episode 1: Intro and Special Contest

Alright, so we admit we borrowed this idea from the Cocoebiz team, but it was such a good idea that I couldn’t pass it up. I thank them numerous times in our introductory video, so it’s okay, right?

So here it is, the OSVchannel. Episode one basically demonstrates how big of a nerd I am as I tell viewers about the site and show off my over-crowded workspace. I then play a sample from a certain videogame we reviewed recently, and announce a special contest for signed copies of this same soundtrack. Which soundtrack, you ask? Well, you’ll just have to watch and find out! Head on over and subscribe to the channel and leave your comments (and hate messages) for the world to see.

Regarding contest details, send your YouTube videos, photos, and text about your experience with the music from this title to [email protected]. We’ll accept submission until September 18, which is two weeks from today. Oh yeah, and to give you guys a little hint, you may want to mention the composer’s music who sent us these albums for the contest. It may or may not help, you never know!
