They’ve done it again! Japanese gamers will apparently be treated to a sweet looking Chrono Trigger Orchestra Extra Soundtracks CD when they pre-order the DS title this winter. The first track is titled “Chrono Trigger ~Orchestral Version~,” which sounds like it could be something we’ve already heard on other arrangement albums in the past, but Siliconera is reporting that the second track, “Chrono Trigger Medley ~Orchestra Version~” will feature segments from “Premonition,” “Guardia Millennial Fair,” “Wind Scene,” “Frog’s Theme,” “Magus Battle,” “Epilogue – To Good Friends,” and “To Far a Way Times.”
Quite an impressive list! These happen to be most of my favorite tracks from the game, and I will be extremely jealous if this CD doesn’t make it to the States. Let’s hear the outcry, and maybe they’ll listen!
Will you consider importing the game from Japan solely for this awesome looking bonus?

The medley sounds like a bunch of tracks from the PlayStation OST’s recordings for the FMV sequences. Doesn’t sound like anything special to me.
Chrono Trigger Orchestra Version … could be from Orchestral Game Concert 5?
You think they strung together all the individual tracks, or was it already a stand-alone medley? That would be lame!
… But I still want it!
So… how many total orchestral tracks should we expect? A two track album with a bunch of medleys doesn’t really sound that neat.
Yeah, only two tracks. Also, have I ever told you that you don’t sound very neat either?
