It’s day 2 of OSVOSTOTY 2012! For today’s category, “Re-Issue” can also cover “Previously Unreleased” territory, and even sound upgrade versions that don’t quite fit the category of “arranged album.” Basically, we’re talking about music written a long time ago, published in 2012.

Can you identify these six albums we’ve nominated for best re-issue based on the image above? If not, you’ll want to keep reading for details on each of the six albums. Remember to check back next week to see which album won top honors!

Bare Knuckle Original Soundtrack

“…the three separate soundtracks for Bare Knuckle I, II, and III (known as Streets of Rage in North America) have been compiled into one handy-dandy set thanks to publisher Wave Master…”

Eternal Daughter 10th Anniversary Original Soundtrack

“[David’s] road to the video games industry had its largest step in 2002, at the age of 16, when Saulesco was given the chance to compose the music for Derek Yu’s freeware classic Eternal Daughter. […] Now 27, Saulesco has returned to rearrange and update his very first soundtrack for its 10th anniversary.”
