Hot off the release of her amazing “best of” compilation titled drammatica, Yoko Shimomura has been announced as the composer for the upcoming Wii town-building sim, Little King’s Story. Shimomura has demonstrated a knack for composing both cutesy and fantasy music, so I think this is a perfect match. With the vast array of talent assembled for this title, I’m actually starting to get excited!
With her impressive credits in games does anyone have a favorite Shimomura soundtrack?

I love everything she does. She’s quickly become one of my favorite composers, but I think the Kingdom Hearts music is among my favorite.
Now that I know she’s doing the music in this game, I have to pick it up.
