MagicalTimeBean, that studio behind Soulcaster and Souclaster II. Or I should say Ian Stocker, since he is the programmer, game designer, composer, and graphic artist at MagicalTimeBean. Whatever the case, Escape Goat is a new game, and it’s awesome, and so is its Falcom-inspired soundtrack.
While we had a blast with the innovative spin on the tower defense genre in Soulcaster and Soulcaster II, Escape Goat takes a different approach, coming as a unique puzzle title featuring a purple goat and his wizard hat-wearing sidekick mouse. You can join them and attempt to solve 50 unique puzzles all while listening to the game’s awesome retro-flavored soundtrack. The game is available on the Xbox Live Indie Games market place for 240 points, and the soundtrack is available on Bandcamp for a name your own price digital download. Both are worth checking out.
Let us know what you think of MagicalTimeBean, Escape Goat, and the game’s soundtrack. All of the tracks are great, but “Secret Gears” is probably my favorite, and I can’t get over how cute “Slumbering Sheep” is.
