That was fast! We’re currently chugging through Skyward Sword so we can bring you our impressions of the audio as well as the included Zelda symphony disc, and it’s already shaping up to be one of my favorite Zelda soundtracks of all time. For that reason, I was excited to see a piano arrangement CD pop up on VGMdb this week that will be included with a book being sold in Japan.
We don’t have any details regarding the contents of the CD, but at 840 Yen for the book and included album, it seems as though the price is right. The game’s main theme and several of the landscape themes are quite amazing, so I have high expectations for the piano arrange album.
Are you looking forward to Skyward Sword? Will you be trying to get your hands on this piano arrange CD?

I saw this crop up not too long ago myself, and–without wanting to jinx the matter and have Skyward Sword be one of my most hated Zelda soundtracks when I finally hear it–I’m really eager to get my hands on this. It looks like it’ll be available on Amazon when release day rolls around, so I might just be inclined to pick it up for Christmas.
Hopefully–if it’s anything like those books released for Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass–it’ll fill us in as to who composed what. That’ll be a big thing, if the music actually turns out to be ‘all that’.
