I really get a kick out of saying that full title.
The above video was posted by the composer for Avatar, Chance Thomas. The song you’ll hear in that video is “Aerial Combat Acrobatics,” one of his most memorable fast-paced pieces from the game.
After the jump, you can catch an excerpts medley of more music from the game. You can also click here to read our review of the soundtrack.
[Thanks Chance!]

Things like these kind of make me sad, like the video with the new Dead to Rights’ OST production in Abbey road. They work so much for it, but well… you know how avatar game turned out to be, “uninspired” most will say. Well, atleast it adds to everyone’s “experience”
Also, after hearing orchestra type OST’s for most major games, it just doesnt feel like people are keeping the game in mind. Just using it to express the situation, could have been used anywhere.
Its like game music is just “music” now. Not like the old days when the music felt more personal to the whole “game experience” with sounds unique only to what a gamer would experience.
ah…..
Really surprised that he’s being allowed to put that stuff out there given that it’s associated with such a huge film. But awesome!
