Distant Worlds Aren’t So Distant: Two New Final Fantasy Concerts In the US

September 4, 2008 | | 2 Comments Share thison Facebook Distant Worlds Aren’t So Distant: Two New Final Fantasy Concerts In the USon Twitter

It’s about time! I was starting to worry that there wouldn’t be another Final Fantasy Distant Worlds concert after the two initial performances and the album release earlier this year. It’s a great show, but I guess they don’t feel any urge to take the show on a full-scale tour.

So, where are these two performances? The first one is actually very soon, on October 8, 2008 in Denver, CO, and the second is on April 14, 2009 in Grand Rapids, MI. Uematsu will be attending the performance in Grand Rapids, so that appears to be the one to make it out to if you can.

This really is a great show, but if you can’t make it out to the two performances a year that they put on, I highly recommend the CD which can be purchased through their website.  It has the best arrangement of “Fisherman’s Horizon” ever.

Excited about the return of Final Fantasy Distant Worlds? Are you with me in wondering why they haven’t hit Los Angeles yet?

Read the official press release after the jump.
