Robert Duguay, composer of Graceful Explosion Machine and Polarman soundtracks, has just released the OST to his most recently-composed indie game soundtrack, Fossil Hunters.
Fossil Hunters is a casual action-adventure game about digging for fossils and building your own dinosaurs. Currently available on Steam, the game has received positive reviews for many of its mechanics, including it’s music. The soundtrack itself features 12 tracks of charming orchestrated music to accompany your efforts to dig, build and play through the game and complete its challenges.
While some tracks present a grand orchestration within their composition, others are more simple and passive and allow the player to take charge without overwhelming them in the music. This adds layers of depth to the gameplay with Duguay’s choice of accompaniment to the overall aesthetic.
The Fossil Hunters Original Soundtrack launches today courtesy of Materia Collective and is available on Bandcamp.
