Last year, arranger David Peacock and performer Augustine Mayuga Gonzales released a piano album and sheet music combination release dedicated to the game UNDERTALE and its soundtrack by Toby Fox. Released under the Materia Collective label, The UNDERTALE Piano Collections was a popular hit and received many accolades.
Now a year later, the follow-up has been released by the same artists and continues with what was started on the first album. The UNDERTALE Piano Collections 2 covers additional songs from the UNDERTALE game, as well as a new sheet music collection will be released alongside of the album for any pianists wanting to test their skills.
With this second UNDERTALE Piano Collections, the goal was to revisit the world of Undertale and cover some themes that we didn’t get to explore the first time around. As a result, the general feeling of this selection is as if exploring more of the experience and atmosphere of a ‘genocide run.’ Retaining the idea of merging both classical music and videogame arrangements, while also continuing the musical language and ideas from the first piano collections, we hope you enjoy these pieces! – David Peacock, Arranger
The UNDERTALE Piano Collections 2 is currently available digitally on Bandcamp and iTunes for $10, with the sheet music available digitally on Bandcamp for $15 and a pre-order of the physical sheet music for $25, to be produced and shipped in May.
