Lord of Vermilion is Square Enix’s new arcade beat-‘em-up that just launched in Japan, and the good folks over at composer Nobuo Uematsu’s label, Dog Ear Records, were kind enough to point their English-speaking audience to the official Lord of Vermilion website for samples of the game’s music. Foreboding bell tolls, wailing guitars, thumping percussion, and a solid melody… what more could you want?
We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for an announcement regarding a soundtrack release for the title. I think chances of this arcade title coming to the United States are slim, but maybe we’ll see a console port. Is anyone else as jazzed about a potential soundtrack release for this title as I am?
