Dog Ear Records, the label publishing almost all Uematsu-related projects these days, has announced that as of August 2008, they’re going to have a presence on iTunes. DER will put out three new albums, one of which being an all-new original album.

After the jump, find out what the albums are!

One comes as no surprise. The jazzy soundtrack for AQ Interactive’s game Anata wo Yurusanai, composed by Uematsu and others, will be coming out on iTunes. Personally, I couldn’t be happier about this, because the music is excellent.

Next up is saRu’s solo album “monkey breaks.” This is the solo project of Ian Hartley, who worked on Square Enix’s upcoming “Final Fantasy Remix” album.

Third, the most unexpected, is “KALAYCILAR/Keita Egusa.” This will be Dog Ear Records’ first “original” artist/album release. This album features “neo-traditional” music from Turkey, Morocco, and other parts of the world.

We’re interested to see where Uematsu and crew are taking their label. Hopefully it’ll mean more excellent music for everyone to enjoy.
